Jane Ragsdale dedicated her life to the magic of summer camp and the lasting impact it can have on young lives. A devoted board member of the Ragsdale family camps—Camp Stewart for Boys and Heart O’ the Hills for Girls—Jane was a guiding light in the world of youth development and community.
Tragically, Jane lost her life in the devastating flood that struck Heart O’ the Hills on July 4th. In her memory, we invite you to help continue the work that meant so much to her by contributing to the Jane Ragsdale Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Camp Stewart Alumni Association.
Since its founding in 2003, this nonprofit organization has been committed to building a strong community among camp alumni and providing financial assistance to help children experience the transformative power of summer camp. Scholarships are awarded to both boys and girls, regardless of whether they attend Ragsdale-owned camps.

• Open the door for children to build life-long friendships and essential life skills.
• Support programs that teach leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Ensure that camp facilities remain safe, nurturing, and inspiring spaces.
